Capriccio: Heaven and Earth 《隨想錄》:天圓地方 (2022)

Joyce Lee (1998-)

A solo work for Vibraphone, Wind Gong, Speaking Voice, and Live Electronics. The name "Heaven and Earth" means "Rounded Sky and Squared, as part of the Ancient Chinese Philosophy "Yin-Yang". Divided into 4 sections, the composer demonstrates the Traditional Eastern cosmic view through the upper-rounded Wind Gong and lower-squared Vibraphone; Meditation Brainwave music; The subtle ratio "108" among the Sun, the Moon, and the Earth; Taoism stylish Witchcraft spelling.

為顫音琴、風鑼、讀誦及現場電子聲音而寫的獨奏 。《天圓地方》一詞源自中國古代「陰陽」哲學概念。全曲分為四部份,以上方的風鑼代表「圓」及下方的顫音琴代表「方」;冥想音樂;太陽、月亮、地球間神秘的比例「108」;道教仙術風格的念咒展現古代東方的宇宙觀。
